The English Wedding Blog Feature our Burncoose House Shoot
I’m so happy to be at last able to share this styled shoot at last! Click here for The English Wedding Blog Feature!
Myself and Caroline from Love Tree Designs wanted to do a shoot together and we got together at the pub a few times to discuss it and came up with this! It’s so nice being around creative people and coming up with shoots like this just because you want to! We had an idea for a Cornish Country House style wedding with references to – let’s face it – one of the best books ever written – Pride and Prejudice!
I’m a total romantic – and so is Caroline – so we had to do this! We wanted to keep the shoot Cornwall-centric. There are SO MANY brilliant and creative wedding suppliers working in the industry we wanted to show off some of our favourites that we admire and love their work.
Burncoose House is just a wonderful venue. So private, tucked away in the most gorgeous gardens. Jeweller Justin Duance, based in Penzance, his bespoke sandblasted rings are original – and so beautiful. Peboryon – also based in Penzance – Christine and Phil’s cakes are literally a work of art, so intricate is the detail and craftmanship.
Caroline from Love Tree Designs stationery is the best I have seen. It is authentically handcrafted by an artisan – she’s amazing! Styling wise, Natalie Blake is a very calm and creative wedding stylist, such a lovely presence to have around with great ideas!
Anna from Wedding Flowers in Cornwall seems to find it effortless, such is her ability to produce stunning combinations of flowers. Kimberly Holland does hair which is intricate, but beautiful and always looks luxurious! Hannah Symons did fabulous makeup which suited the theme perfectly. Hair ornaments from the Lucky Sixpence were beautiful. The lovely Alan provided the fab tweed suit, Little Anne Maids is the best shop for grooms I’ve been into and Alan is so helpful!
Tootsie and Tiger provided the fur wrap and The Bridal House of Cornwall provided the dresses which were stunning!
And we can’t forget the amazing models – Sarah – kind, professional and absolutely gorgeous! Tom calm, relaxed and rode a horse when I found out later he was terrified! Amazing models and people. And Freya herself (the equestrian model!) was an absolute star! Thank you all x
With this team of AMAZING Cornish wedding suppliers we did this Wedding styled shoot. We hope you like it!!!
